Simple Recipes for Everyday Oils

Easy blends you can make at home. Oil names are doTERRA singles and blends. Start with one that excites you.

A few safety basics: Dilute with a carrier oil like Fractionated Coconut Oil. Patch test new oils. Use less for kids and sensitive skin. Citrus oils can increase sun sensitivity, so avoid direct sun for 12 hours after use. This is education only, not medical advice.

Roller Bottles

Each fills one 10 mL roller. Add the oils, top with Fractionated Coconut Oil, roll onto wrists, neck, or feet.

Calm and Grounded

4 drops Lavender
3 drops Balance (Grounding Blend)
3 drops Wild Orange

A calming, grounding aroma to end a busy day.

Bright and Focused

4 drops Peppermint
4 drops Wild Orange
2 drops Frankincense

Fresh and uplifting while you work or study.

Cooling Comfort

5 drops Deep Blue

Salves and Lotions

Salve base: melt 1/2 cup carrier oil with 2 Tbsp beeswax, cool slightly, stir in oils. Lotion: start with 8 oz unscented lotion.

10 drops Lavender
8 drops Frankincense
5 drops Tea Tree (Melaleuca)

A gentle salve to support soft, comfortable skin.

Cooling Muscle Salve

12 drops Deep Blue
6 drops Peppermint

Massage into hands, feet, or shoulders after a workout.

Bedtime Calm Lotion

15 drops Lavender
10 drops Serenity (Restful Blend)
5 drops Cedarwood

Smooth on before bed for a calming, restful aroma.

Diffuser Blends

Add the drops to your diffuser with water, following the fill line. Sized for a standard home diffuser.

All-Purpose Surface Spray

1 cup water
1 cup white vinegar
10 drops Lemon, 5 drops On Guard

Combine in a glass spray bottle. Shake before use. Skip natural stone.

Room and Linen Spray

2 oz water
1 tsp witch hazel
12 to 15 drops Citrus Bliss or Lavender

Shake and mist over linens, curtains, and the air.
